Happy Hous - Vacation Homes Offera Respite From Disney Vacations

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Each winter I escape from the frozen tundra of Michigan to the warm, sunny climate of central Florida. For the past three years, I've chosen to stay at a vacation home in Kissimmee (very close to Walt Disney World) rather than my usual Disney resort hotel. Why? Because a vacation home feels like a retreat and allows me to really relax, rather than run myself ragged. I still go to the Disney parks (of course), but my day starts with an inexpensive breakfast made in my home's kitchen and possibly a dip in the pool, and ends with a movie on my home's big-screen TV and a soak in the hot tub. This is a REAL vacation ... I get the Disney parks for fun and the vacation home for relaxation.

This is not to say that I dislike or discourage others from staying at Disney resort hotel -- quite the contrary. But each vacation is different, even those taken by the same person. Disney resort hotel stays are great when you want to be in the middle of the magic (and avoid seeing International Drive or US-192), take advantage of on-property perks like Extra Magic Hours, and have easy access to the services of a hotel. But when you want (or need) to relax, it isn't always the best choice -- when you stay on-property, there's often a sense of urgency to get to the parks early and stay late (especially with evening Extra Magic Hours), and the resort hotels are not usually quiet, calm places, what with their popularity. So what makes a vacation home so relaxing? Read on...

Space.

Probably the single most compelling reason that I stay at a vacation home is the space it offers. My family can spread out without stepping on toes. Depending on the vacation home you choose, you can have separate bedrooms for adults and kids -- including separate bathrooms -- plus dedicated kitchens, living rooms, game rooms, TV rooms, and even a pool and hot tub. There's nothing quite so luxurious as being able to take a dip in your private pool before breakfast, or to watch the morning news (or, in our case, "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse") on a big-screen TV while you fix breakfast in a full-size kitchen with full-size appliances.

On my latest vacation home visit, my family and I returned to the exact same house that we used the previous year. I already knew I loved the house from our previous visit, and the home was now familiar to me and my family. The vacation home has several bedrooms and bathrooms, living room, kitchen, game room, home theater room, computer with Internet access, washer/dryer, a screened patio with a pool and hot tub, and even a kids' playset in the backyard. It was nice for my husband to be checking mail on the computer upstairs while my son played with Legos in the living room and I enjoyed a cup of coffee at the dining room table.

I should note that housekeeping is not generally included in vacation home rentals, though you can often purchase the service for an extra fee. Honestly, I don't need it -- I have no problems hanging my towels up to dry or popping my dishes into the dishwasher. I must also admit that I like the lack of interruptions from a housekeeper -- I always find it a bit annoying when the housekeeper knocks on my hotel room door too early, or I feel pressured to leave the room so s/he can clean. But if housekeeping is important to you, do keep this in mind.

Separation.

Not only does all the space give us some separation from each other when needed (hey, when you live and work together 24/7 like my husband and I do, you need some space once in while!), but it offers separation from the hustle and bustle, too. When I came "home," I left behind the frenzy of the parks and the glare of the tourist traps. It's quiet and peaceful at a vacation home. No kids running along the corridor outside your room; no loud TVs or alarm clocks in the room next door.

On my most recent trip, I really appreciated coming home at night to a quiet house. Putting my son to sleep was easy as he had his own room (he likes it dark and quiet). After he was in bed, we had the run of the house and didn't need to worry about waking him up. When I was in the mood for some magic, I looked out the back window -- I could see "Mt. Everest" (Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom) in the distance. I really felt like I could breathe easier at this vacation home.

Savings.

It's easier to relax when you're saving money, and vacation homes can offer excellent savings over Disney resort hotels. You'll find the savings are especially good when you travel with a large family or a group (but, of course, with all those people it might not be quite as relaxing!). Rates for Orlando vacation homes generally start at around 0/night for condos/townhomes and around 0/night for vacation homes with their own pool and spa. You can stay at a motel or (occasionally) a Disney value resort for less, but that's it -- everything else is more expensive and usually offers FAR less room (and beds) than a vacation home.

When you stay in a vacation home, you do need to rent a car -- if you don't normally do this, you need to factor it into the cost comparisons. You may be able to get a free rental car with your vacation home rental.

The most telling factor is how I felt AFTER my vacation. Unlike most other trips when I return home feeling like I need another vacation, after a stay at a vacation home I always feel well-rested.

What Makes a Person Intelligent?

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

In traditional intelligence theories when one is asked the question “What makes a person intelligent?” the most common responses will often note a person’s ability to solve problems, utilize logic, and think critically. These typical traits of intelligence are sometimes grouped together under the heading “raw intelligence”. A person’s intelligence, traditionally speaking, is contained in their intellect. In other words, how we each understand, evaluate or respond to external stimuli, regardless as to whether it is a mathematical problem or anticipation of an opponent’s next move in a game, is our collective intelligence. Our intelligence therefore, is our individual, collective ability to act or react in a continually changing environment.

The principal problem in traditional intelligence theories is that they promote “fractured learning”. Many educational reformers have clearly stated that “taking tests merely shows that a student is skilled at taking tests”. At best, traditional tests focus on only about one tenth of an individual’s intellect. Note that Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison, two of history’s most famous examples of brilliant minds, were terrible at taking traditional tests, therefore terrible at “school” in general. Multiple Intelligences theory then, demonstrates that the ability to take traditional tests is almost entirely in the realm of the Logical – Mathematical
intelligence. This intelligence will be detailed later along with the Interpersonal intelligence, which imparts in some students the ability to second guess a teacher’s structuring of a test. Traditional IQ tests predict school performance with considerable accuracy, but they are only an indifferent predictor of performance in a profession after formal schooling.

In an interesting but controversial study conducted during the 1960’s by Biologist Marion Diamond, of the University of California at Berkeley, two sets of rats were raised in different environments; One set had toys to play with, playmates to romp with and a roomy box that was kept clean and fresh. The second set was put in solitary confinement; all alone in a much smaller cage with no toys to enjoy. After several weeks, Diamond measured the size of each rat’s cerebral cortex, the brain area which is responsible for higher nerve functions. The rats in the sociable, clean and stimulating environment grew brains bigger than the rats with the impoverished surroundings. “Does the enriched environment increase the dimensions of the brain, and does the impoverished environment decrease the dimensions of the brain?”, asked Diamond. “The answer, very clearly, is YES.” Similar results were replicated with cats, monkeys and later with humans. So a stimulating, enriched learning environment is crucial to mental development. If we likewise incorporate the varying student intelligences in our teaching activities, our success as well as our students success, will be markedly improved. That each of us possess all the intelligences, that they can each be developed further, that these multiple intelligences work together in a complex manner, and that there are, in fact, many different ways to be “intelligent” are inclusive in a study by Armstrong. Here briefly, in retrospect, are eight of the major intelligences of Howard Gardener’s theory and their relative traits:

Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence:
The capacity to use words effectively, either orally or in writing. It is highly developed in story-tellers, orators, politicians, poets, playwrights, editors, language teachers and journalists. Students with a high degree of this intelligence think in words; learn by listening, reading, and verbalizing. They enjoy writing, like books, records, and tapes, and have a good memory for verse, lyrics, or trivia. Getting into discussions, telling jokes and debating are also characteristics of this intelligence. Maya Angelou is strong in this intelligence.

Visual-Spatial Intelligence:
The ability to perceive the world accurately and to perform transformations upon one's perceptions. This is highly developed in guides, interior designers, architects, artists, fashion designers and inventors. Students with a high degree of spatial intelligence think in images and pictures, like mazes and jigsaw puzzles. They like to draw and design things, and enjoy films, slides, videos, diagrams, maps, charts. The daydreamers and those who may have strong opinions about such things as colors that go together, textures that are appropriate and pleasing and decorating are included in this intelligence. Pablo Picasso was strong in this intelligence.

Musical – Rhythmic Intelligence: The capacity to perceive, discriminate, transform, and express musical forms is most highly developed in musical performers, music aficionados, and music critics. Students with a high degree of musical intelligence learn through rhythm and melody, play a musical instrument, or May need music to study. They notice nonverbal sounds in the environment: the chirp of a cricket, rain on the roof, varying traffic patterns, and usually learn things more easily if sung, tapped out, or whistled. These people love music and rhythmic patterns and can often reproduce a melody or rhythmic pattern after hearing it only once. Various sounds, tones, and rhythms may have a visible effect on them (that is, you can see a change in facial expressions, body movement, or emotional responses). They enjoy singing and listening to a wide variety of music, and are often quite skilled at mimicking sounds, language accents, and others’ speech patterns, and recognizing different musical instruments in a composition. Paul McCartney is strong in this intelligence.

Logical-Mathematical Intelligence:
The capacity to use numbers effectively and to reason well. This intelligence is highly developed in mathematicians, tax accountants, statisticians, scientists, computer programmers, and logicians. Students with a high degree of this intelligence often reason things out logically and clearly; look for abstract patterns and relationships; frequently like brain teasers, logical puzzles, and strategy games. They also like to use computers and to classify and categorize. These people think conceptually and abstractly and are able to see patterns and relationships that others often miss. They like to experiment, solve puzzles and other problems, ask cosmic questions and think. They love the challenge of complex problems to solve and always have a logical rationale or argument for what they are doing or thinking. Albert Einstein was strong in this intelligence.

Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence: Consists of expertise in using one’s whole body to express ideas and feelings, and facility in using ones hands to produce or transform things. A highly developed intelligence in actors, mimes, athletes, dancers, sculptors, mechanics, and surgeons. Students with a high degree of bodily-kinesthetic intelligence process knowledge through bodily sensations; move, twitch, tap, or fidget while sitting in a chair or at a desk and learn by touching, manipulating, and moving. They typically like role playing and creative movement and generally like physical games of all kinds and demonstrating how to do something. They communicate well through body language and other physical gestures. They can often perform a task only after seeing someone else do it. They find it difficult to sit still for a long time and are easily bored if they are not actively involved in what is going on around them. Michael Jordan is strong in this intelligence.

Interpersonal Intelligence:
The ability to perceive and make distinctions in the moods, intentions, motivations, and feelings of other people. This Intelligence can include sensitivity to facial expressions, voice, and gestures, as well as the ability to respond effectively to such cues. Students with a high degree of interpersonal intelligence understand and care about people; like to socialize; learn more easily by relating and cooperating and are good at teaching other students. These people learn through person-to-person interaction. They generally have lots of friends; show a great deal of empathy for other people and understanding of different points of view. They are skilled at drawing others out in a discussion, conflict resolution and mediation when people are in radical
opposition to each other. Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi were strong in this intelligence.

Intra-personal Intelligence:
Self-knowledge and the ability to act adaptively on the basis of that knowledge define this group. This is an intelligence which can include having an accurate picture of one’s strengths and limitations, awareness of one’s moods and motivations, and the capacity for self-discipline. Students with a high degree of this intelligence seem to be self-motivating; need their own quiet space; may march to the beat of a different drummer and tend to learn more easily with independent study, self-paced instruction, individualized projects and games.
These people like to work alone and sometimes shy away from others. They are self-reflective and self-aware and thus tend to be in tune with their inner feelings, values, beliefs, and thinking processes. They are frequently bearers of creative wisdom and insight, are highly intuitive, and are inwardly motivated rather than needing external rewards to keep them going. They are often strong-willed, self-confident, and definite, well-thought-out opinions on almost any issue (although they are sometimes off-the-wall). Other people will often come to them for advice and counsel, but others will sometimes view them as distant or weird. Emily Dickinson and Stephen King are examples of this intelligence.

Naturalist Intelligence:
Environmental knowledge and the ability to identify and categorize plants, animals and nature on the basis of that knowledge. The Naturalist Intelligence can include having an accurate picture of the ambient environment, awareness of the interrelationship of natural elements, and the capacity for self-analysis of these elements. It is found most highly developed in archeologists, animal handlers, animal trainers, veterinarians, biologists, racehorse jockeys, zoologists, environmentalists, wilderness guides and naturalists. Students who have a high degree of the naturalist intelligence seem to be nature-oriented, seek to be outdoors or in the elements and learn more easily with nature-related study and environmental projects and activities. They like to collect items from nature, study them, and group them. They tend to be aware of subtleties in appearance, texture, and sounds that those weaker in this intelligence may not grasp. Charles Darwin, Jacques Cousteau, and John James Audubon were strong in this intelligence.

One of the great promises of Multiple Intelligences theory in education is that it will help us to find individual pathways into and out of our students’ minds. Recent advances in educational psychology and research in applied MI theory offer educators a real possibility of developing the potential of all students. Both educators and students should derive from Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence theory that all people are different and learn differently, and that we should respect, value, and nurture that diversity.

9 Tips To Socializing Your Dog

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Socialization is an important first step in obedience training. Whether you bring home a puppy or you adopt a shelter dog, proper socialization helps your dog adjust to their environment. Socialization teaches your dog what manners are expected of them when they are in public, around people or around other dogs. Follow these 9 tips to get your pup ready for any adventure.

1. Socializing a puppy is easy. Their whole world is a classroom and they listen willingly. Of course puppies do tend to have ants in their pants and a very short attention span, but they are also eager to please. You just need a little patience.

2. Your family is your puppy's first experience with socialization. Be sure to keep your pup in the house and make them a part of your family. Teach them what is expected of them at home first and you will be well on your way to a well- behaved pup out in public as well.

3. At some point you will need to take you pup out in public. Veterinarians have differing views of when it is appropriate. Some vets want you to wait until the four-month mark when your pup has had their last set of vaccinations. Others say that the socialization is more important and there are cures for most ailments they would get. But remember most of their conditioning happens between zero and four months. You don't have to put them in all situations all at once but it is important to get them out and around people. Dogs that have had their vaccinations and are healthy are okay, too.

4. It is important for all dogs to know how to behave around children and always supervise your dog when children are present. Kids will poke, prod, pull tails and try to ride your dog because to a kid a dog is a big fluffy playmate. Puppies bite when they play and most kids don't understand this. Use this as a teaching moment for both the kids and your dog. While acclimating your dog to children offer the kids a lesson in proper interaction with pets. Kids should understand that they must ask permission from the dog owner before approaching any dog. Teach them to let the dog sniff their hands before touching and be gentle when petting any dog. Since kids and puppies go together so well it should be a fun experience for both.

5. Who can resist a puppy? Most people can't and they don't ask before walking up and getting in your puppy's face. Proper socialization at home will prepare your puppy for all the attention it is going to receive out in public. You want your puppy to be able to handle the many situations they will be in and be use to a myriad of disturbances.

6. There is no such thing as a guard dog. Most dogs don't know the difference between a burglar and the neighbor kid coming to the door. The best you can hope for is that your dog barks when someone approaches the house. Please don't train your dog to be mean. You are only asking for trouble if you do. A security system works much better and it doesn't bite.

7. It is important your puppy or dog associate with other dogs. Dogs need dog on dog interaction and an older more experienced dog will help train your puppy. If you have an older shelter dog that is not dog friendly try a slower method of introducing them. Introduce one dog at a time or hire a trainer specialized in this area.

8. If you have a shelter dog that has not been properly socialized find a trainer to help. Trainers can do temperament testing to help find behavior problems and then help you fix them. You are responsible for keeping your dog under control at all times, so if you are inexperienced don't take your under socialized dog out alone. Any unexpected reaction to stimuli can catch you off guard and cause a lot of grief to both you and your four- legged pal.

9. Most dogs love to ride in the car. No matter what their age it is important your dog learn to ride nicely. Don't take your dog in the car only when they are going to the vet. This can make them fearful of cars and other social situations. Take them to the park or for a ride around the block. Teach them to sit in the back seat and behave. Try one of the many seat harnesses on the market that help keep you pet secure while in the car.

Dogs are social animals and want to be a part of your environment. They can be taught proper manners for any occasion. Take them out and let them meet the world. Teaching them to behave in public is a great transition into other forms of training.

Where Should I Travel?

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

A person's home country can get boring after a while, and traveling has been popular since the invention of cheap airfares. If you are looking to explore an exotic area like Hawaii, you might consider a Kauai vacation home, or if going further overseas sounds like your idea of a good time, you could find appropriate Poipu vacation rentals in the country of your choice. People are often hesitant to travel overseas due to worries about exorbitant costs, terrorism on the flight and dangers of an unknown country, but these fears are largely unfounded.

You might consider going to a disadvantaged country in Africa. Behind Antarctica it is probably the least popular continent for travelers to visit, yet a trip to this often-neglected continent can be extremely rewarding. While many countries in this region are incredibly dangerous, and virtually no African country can be considered a functional democracy, there are many nations that present natural and man-made wonders equal to anywhere in Europe. Despite what one may assume, the people are also often very kind to foreigners, as they treat them as their guests. The only issue may be one that can also be found in poorer countries such as India, where beggars line the streets and are unafraid to incessantly bother travelers for money. While seeing such levels of poverty can be troubling, it is a part of a wider experience, and will cause your perspective of the world to grow.

You should decide whether you want to travel in order to get this widening of your world view, or if you are just looking for a few weeks entertainment. If entertainment is the only thing you are after, you can travel interstate to somewhere like Vegas, or overseas to a country like Ibiza, known for its party lifestyle. These experiences, while rewarding, ultimately will not give you anything you cannot experience within your own area, and ultimately you will miss out on the unique joys that can be gained by taking on an experience that may be more challenging, but ultimately can greatly improve your state of mind.

You could plan to travel to another country and help others in some way. Developed countries such as China and Japan offer jobs for those willing to teach English, provided they have completed a short course on teaching English as a second language. The great thing is, you do not have to know the language of your host country in order to teach! If you are willing to volunteer your services, there are many places overseas where you can help teaching English, taking care of animals or feeding the poor. All you have to do is search Google for "volunteer" and the country of your choice, and you will find a whole host of people willing to take you into their lives and give you an experience you will never forget.

Whether you are planning on traveling interstate or overseas, to be entertained or to learn, make sure you properly plan your trip. Have all passports and travelers checks in order, and keep your passport and cash close to you at all times.

What's Hiding In Your Bathroom

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

"We look good, we smell good, but we have just exposed ourselves to 200 different chemicals a day through personal care products."

U.S. News and World Report

Inside your own personal space are hundreds of harmful chemicals housed in your hair care, skin care and cosmetics.

Millions of dollars are spent every year on products designed to adorn the outside of our bodies. Many of these products make us look and smell good, but at what price?

Closer examination helps us discover that most of these products are filled with chemicals - chemicals that if handled by themselves, according to the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) would require the handler to wear rubber gloves, boots and safety glasses.

These chemicals are hazardous and many are being linked to fatal diseases such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes and sterility! They are hazardous and yet we continue to put them on our body day after day after day. Have you ever wondered why?

Maybe it's because the cosmetic industry is self regulated meaning that they set the guidelines, control their tests, and determine what health requirements are necessary before a product can be sold. Most cosmetic companies are more interested in making money than preserving your good health. Maybe it's because we don't really believe the studies. Maybe it's because we just don't know what to do. No matter what the reason, the problem still exists and unless we do something about it, we will end up suffering the consequences of our ignorance.

If the manufacturer has a vested interest in the product, the decision will be weighted towards the manufacturers' benefit and their recommendation may not necessarily be for the best good of the consumer.

What can we do?
The simple answer is to buy only Toxic Free products http://www.toxictruth.com that do not contain harmful chemicals or cause further damage to the skin. Look for products that contain the toxic truth seal.

Unlike the cosmetic industry, those products that contain the toxic free seal must meet the standards dictated by the Toxic Free Organization. This organization requires that every step of the process - that means the planting, growing, harvesting, processing and manufacturing of a product must be accomplished under circumstances that are absolutely toxic free.

The agency reviews every aspect of every ingredient from seed to finished product. If the ingredients have met these stringent requirements, that is, if they have been handled in a truly toxic free environment, they can bear the ToxicFree seal of approval.

POPULAR BUZZ WORDS
Although there are many popular buzz words in the market place today, we are only going to be talking about three. Here they are.

1. Pure

2. Natural

3. Non-Toxic

The very name makes these words sound like the product should be healthy for you, right? That's the deception.

Although some products may really contain mostly pure or natural ingredients, that doesn't mean that they will be healthy for your skin.

For example, strychnine is natural, but when taken internally it is deadly. In fact, it could even be pure, but that still doesn't fix the problem - it only exacerbates it. Let's discuss the three words mentioned above one at a time.

Pure:
The dictionary's definition of Pure is "unmixed or unpolluted". "Absolute".

The Cosmetic Industry's definition of Pure is: Any product containing any ingredient or portion thereof that could be traced back to a pure or original origin. In other words, if there is a "trace" of something original in there, you can call the whole product pure. I hardly think this makes the product "unpolluted" or "absolute".

Natural:
The dictionary's definition of Natural is: "Pertaining to, in accordance with, or determined by, nature; Being or found in its native state". "Not artificial".

According to the Cosmetic Industry, you can proudly display the "natural" label if at least 5% of the ingredients are derived from a natural source. This means that you could have one ingredient that has a minimum of 5% of that ingredient that has come from a natural source and that is enough to meet the labeling requirements to call the entire product "Natural". That means your product could be 5% natural and 95% artificial and still be called "natural".

Non Toxic:
Webster's Dictionary defines Non Toxic as: "not producing or resulting from poison".

The cosmetic industry gives this definition: "If no more than 49% of all laboratory animals that the product is tested on die, then you can call the product Non Toxic." That means that the product could be 48.9% likely to kill you. I don't know about you, but I'm not willing to take those odds. That is a rather risky gamble with your health.

To further complicate the issue, we have no real hope for relief from the manufacturers'. Here is the reason why. The cosmetic/personal care industry is self regulating. That means, the only ones that are looking out for the consumer is the manufacturer of the product. Let me explain it this way.

If I was manufacturing a new product and I wanted to put the label Non Toxic on it, I could begin a test on my laboratory animals. Let's say that I had planned on running the test for 10 days. On day one, a few animals were dead. On day two, a few more had died. On day three, 42% of all of the animals were dead and over 50% of the ones that were still alive looked really sick. I could at that time abort the test and claim the name of Non Toxic on my label since less than 49% of the animals tested on died before the conclusion of the test. Now, I could go out the next day and discover that 75% of all of the animals tested on had died, but because that many had not died before the end of the test, I could still claim the title of Non Toxic.

Seven Arrows Color Connection has spent years developing Toxic Free products. To learn how you can replace the toxins hiding in your bathroom with a better Toxic Free solution, visit our site at a http://www.toxictruth.com. You will also see a complete listing of our Toxic Free products and the ingredients in our products. If you do not notice a substantial difference in the look and feel of your skin and if you are not completely satisfied with our products in the first 30 days, we will refund your money 100% ... no questions asked.

WPF Controls That Deliver Unique User Experience

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

WPF is a great technology that is delivered by Microsoft Corporation in order to help numerous needs of developers and software shops to deliver better software. Time is ticking and software, big part of which is user interface, needs to be rewritten or reinvented.

Many Researches showed that simply rewriting user interface and application from older technology, for example Windows Forms, to newer: WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) platform brings no gain. You need to break old UI design rules to present better user experience. Many companies have R&D departments that work on how to move from classic: menu/chart/datagrid format to something more user friendly and the same time user interface that brings better way to show data. Microsoft released WPF for this purpose.

Using old technologies like Windows Forms won't give you any good starting point to develop custom controls, as it was designed to be in windows like style. So, button, menu and grid are the same as the whole Windows interface and extending that behavior is complex and hard to maintain.

WPF controls were introduced to the world as 'controls without look'. You can develop any kind of visual presentation using designer tools, for example Expression Blend. So, in a few clicks you can receive fluid animated button that reacts in your way on mouse press, mouse over, focus or other events. Moreover, that is applicable to other advanced and complex components such as datagrid, listview, combobox and so on.

Once you get familiar with WPF controls that are supplied within standard pack in.NET framework, you might get a need to have custom control to be done. That is also a lot easier than it was before, you still can give your designer to make UI and then you will plug it into your code and receive working custom control that can be reused as many times as you need.

The web is full of vendors that propose standard and a few kinds of unique controls and packs for WPF that can make developer's life easier. Usually you can receive 40 controls for a thousand of dollars which cost a few times less than you would spend on development even if you need only 2-3 of them.

Pets Can Help Keep The Doctor Away

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

A pet makes a great friend. We love our pets and that is why we have them. We know that pets can make us feel better. When you get home from work, school, or are retired, or elderly, pet owners quite literally feel and see the love from their favorite dog or cat. Living with a pet can provide you with certain health benefits. Pets help to reduce your blood pressure and lessen anxiety. Pet owners health and well-being are linked together in owning a pet or have a pet visit you in the nursing home or hospital.

When selecting a pet it is important that your pet fits your lifestyle or otherwise your new pet could add more stress. Pets require our love and attention. Going out for a walk, playing Frisbee or hide and seek provides the incentive to owners to interact and get out of the house. You benefit from the fresh air, sunshine and exercise that you might not get on our own. However, what if you can't take care of your pet? If this is the case, then pet therapy might be the way to go.

Therapy pets are animals that help humans just by visiting them. Animal Assisted Therapy is the term used to describe therapy pets. One pet is assigned to one patient. Nursing home personnel and the pet handler help to figure out ways that therapy will be best suited to the patient. Cats and dogs are the most suitable therapy pets but there is no reason why other pets can't be trained for pet therapy as well.

Owning a pet can have medical benefits to patients in nursing homes and hospitals, and as well as pet owners. Pet owners, or pet therapy encourages social interaction, reduces stress levels, boosts self-confidence and self-esteem and encourages you to exercise. In addition, pet owners who live alone are less lonely because of their pets' companionship.

Pets and elderly people have a lot to give one another. Pet owners give them a sense of purpose; a reason to get up in the morning, buying food and or going outside, which helps to motivate them to eat and to get enough sleep and exercise.

Pet owner's have fewer doctors' visits, improve your mental well being, and improve you cardiovascular health and lowers you blood pressure. Many people have high blood pressure for years without knowing it. There are no known symptoms that you can tell your doctor.

Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to a stroke, heart attack, congestive heart failure or kidney failure. The only way to discover if you have high blood pressure is to have your doctor check it. This is why it is often called the silent killer. If you have high blood pressure, you should think about getting a dog or cat as they can help reduce health problems. Owning a dog or cat and stroking them can help to reduce blood pressure and even keep it lower under stressful situations.

Pet owners have better emotional health and mental wellness while caring for their furry friend. Pets can act as a support system for people who live alone or do not have family, or close friends nearby. They offer unconditional love and affection and that alone helps a person reduce loneliness.

When you are in a hospital or nursing home and a pet owner comes to visit you with their furry friend, you feel a little less lonely and depressed and can forget about your illness, even for a little while. Patients tend to be more receptive to treatment when they have regular visits from their favorite furry friend. The need to care for their pet gives them reason to recover and the will to live. It, also, makes the patient happy to have something to look forward to when visiting hours are over.

Having a pet is a great investment, not only because a dog or cat bring joy and pleasure into your life, but the many health benefits that come along with owning a pet. Though a dog or cat can't replace human relationships for senior citizens, they can certainly enhance them and fill an older person's life with years of constant, unconditional love. Pet owners have long known that owning a family pet can make life happier, and can lead to a longer healthier life.

The Perfect Baby Room Decor

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Baby room decor is very important for your children's further development. Baby room decorations are a psychological factor, which helps the little one to feel comfortable and at home. The baby room décor should pacify the child's eyes, and should be chosen accordingly to its age. It is that soothing environment needed for the healthy development of your child. You should carefully choose the wallpapers in the baby room, because they surround your little one and bring different thoughts and feelings. A baby is as sensible to its surroundings as any other adult. They will be affected by the way their surrounding looks like. A well-designed baby room décor can be really helpful in raising your kid.

Color is an important factor. You should decorate the room with the majority of one color. But which one should predominate? Which is the most appropriate color for babies? Soft, gentle colors can be the answer. Don't choose too loud and bright colors, because they will not sooth the atmosphere. But the baby toys should be bright: because babies really enjoy seeing and playing with bright and shiny things. The walls and the wallpapers should be relaxing though. Babies would feel stressed if they were put in a bright baby room decoration, and would have sleep problems, panic attacks, eating deficiency and so on.

You should also choose the baby room décor in accordance with the whole atmosphere of your house. It is up to you to make the baby room part of your home.

The theme of the baby room should be carefully considered. It may by floral or animal theme, because babies really like animals and flowers. Animals are preferable, though, because they are more lively and vivid, and they can make your baby react more actively at its environment. Choose the animal decorations for the wallpapers, the blanket, the curtains. Animals are fun for everyone, and moreover, they give the babies something to look at while they are lying in their beds or cribs.

You can also pick up the night sky theme, which is very relaxing for a sound sleep. Deep blue is used to decorate the walls and ceiling. The pictures of stars and planets can give the baby a sense of wonder, and it will like it immensely. Babies can be touched by the wondrous universe, they appreciate the beauty, don't forget that! A night sky decoration will make your baby a dreamer even from this early age on!

How to Make an Attractive Poster Print

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

What makes a poster print attractive? Probably, you have asked yourself that question countless times while attempting to make your own and getting envious by those prints that get your attention even at a considerable distance.

Everywhere you go, at schools, offices, bars, and subway stations, you can find yourself in awe of a poster you just see on the sidewalk or on a bulletin board. Poster prints can make people stop on their tracks or turn their heads sideways. That is the beauty of having them as a marketing material. Even if they are posted on a decrepit wall or a rundown building, it can still make people take notice. Corollary, you can get to inform them of your intent.

Therefore, if you are planning to promote an event or make an announcement, you have to make yourself a very attractive print. At high schools and university buildings, you may be surprised to know that a professional does not do the most captivating outputs. Students who want to save costs make them. Using their skills on graphic design or poster printing, they create their own using design software or computer programs available on their desktop computers. They even print posters the DIY way! Print on an inkjet printer, reproduce via photocopy or reprinting, and then stick the poster on lampposts, doors, corkboards, waiting sheds - anywhere you please.

To answer your question, here are the elements that make it attractive:

- Design
It all boils down to poster design. The most awe-inspiring copy has a unique design that people have not seen yet, a design technique that is not commonly used, or a new take to an old technique. Those who experiment and are not afraid to take risks make the difference. That is why you have to think a little outside the box. Do not settle on the common and the familiar. Let your creative juices flowing and take design chances. Who knows? Your poster may be able to capture not just any person's attention, but also of advertising agencies.

- Message
You may notice that there are prints that do not contain a lot of text. Some only has a single photograph - a picture of a child, animal, or a scene. Some also contains just a single word, phrase, or a question, big, bright, and bold, on the front. You may find these types of posters overly simplistic. However, compared to a full-colored poster with lots of pictures, these may be more appealing because the message is direct. Straight to the point. You may consider making brevity a characteristic, as there are people who prefer this.

If you want to create an attractive poster, look at the best prints available. You may find yourself learning from the professionals what make posters captivating. Surely, there are design elements you will find that you can use on your own poster. Browse through the best of the best pictures because you will surely be encouraged and influence to create a unique poster that you will be very proud of.

Obedience Training For Your New Puppy

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Training is usually broken down into two types: obedience and behavioral. We will discuss obedience training in this article.

Obedience training for your new puppy should begin the day you bring him/her home. You should make obedience training fun and incorporate the training with play sessions. It is so easy to train a puppy when they are having fun and the puppy has no idea that they are learning valuable lessons. Please keep the sessions short and reward the puppy when they obey a command on the first call.

Some basic commands are: sit, stay, come and heel. Focusing on these commands with your new puppy is a good start. You should practice with your puppy at least twice every day and more often if you have the time. Make each practice session short so as not to tire the puppy or let the puppy become bored. Remember make it fun for both of you.

After your puppy has completed their vaccination course, you may enroll them in puppy classes. These classes are beneficial for both the puppy and owners. Before you enroll the puppy, stop by the class and observe the instructor during a training class. Is the class fun for both humans and animals? Do you feel comfortable with the type of training? Remember, your puppy's welfare is at stake and you want to be satisfied with the training techniques. Also, make sure the class size is small because you will receive more instructions and individual attention. This class should be fun for both owner and puppy and educational for both. If you feel uncomfortable or you're not happy with the trainers methods you may always find another class and instructor.

Puppy classes are invaluable. Your puppy will learn or reinforce the basic commands you have taught them and will be socialized. Socialization is the foundation of a well behaved dog. A puppy that is accustomed to being around many different people and animals is better behaved and less likely to be aggressive around people or other dogs. Make sure you practice the commands with your puppy at home and continue the socialization whenever you are out with your animal whether it is the park or just a walk around the block. Socialization is so very important during the first five months of the puppy's life. Letting the puppy get use to strange sights, sounds and smells will make him/her a more stable dog as they grow older.

There are many classes your puppy can attend. Some are called Beginning Puppy Classes, Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy Class 1 and so forth. After your puppy has graduated from the first class, you can enroll them in the next class for further training and socialization. There can never be too much socialization or training for your puppy or dog. As the puppy learns new commands and branches out further in his obedience training, he/she will become more self assured and you as the owner will be more confident and allow them more freedom in the home. Training benefits both the puppy and the owner.

As the puppy grows older, you may want to enroll them in a beginning agility class or a Canine Good Citizen class. There are many continuing classes for puppy's and dogs and the only limit is how much time you have to devote to your animal and the cost of the classes. There are many group classes offered that are not expensive and in some communities informal classes are formed by pet owners who just want their animals to play and exercise with other animals in dog parks. Dogs are social animals and are happiest when they can run and play with other dogs or play with their humans.

There are many books and articles on the different types of puppy and dog training. If you are not familiar with certain terms like reward training or Canine Good Citizen, do your research before enrolling your puppy or dog in any class. You want a rewarding experience for both you and the puppy in training class.

Flower and Nature Themed Pewter Cabinet Knobs and Pulls

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Spring is here and that means the flowers are blooming again, but why wait all year for that moment? Installing new cabinet knobs on your kitchen or bathroom cabinets can not only update the entire look of the room with minimal time and expense but can also create a new and beautiful theme that can be carried through to the rest of the home. Advancements in manufacturing capability over the past two centuries have made it possible for homeowners to introduce new and unexpected designs into their home and reflect their unique personality in a whole new way.

Floral cabinet knobs are a wonderful way to capture the beauty of Spring and Summer into your home all year long. Pewter cabinet knobs are a more malleable metal and therefore allow for more complex designs. Imagine whimsical daisy knobs on your cabinets or strawberry pulls on your drawers! Not only would this make your home special, it would allow you more freedom to incorporate your interests into your overall design.

Cabinet knobs and pulls are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and it is important to understand that not all are designed to go one every cabinet. This is especially true if you are planning to reuse existing drill holes for cabinet and drawer pulls. Pay attention to size when you are making a decision. Manufacturers will typically list two sizes for drawer pulls: overall length and center-to-center spacing. The center-to-center spacing is key because this refers to the distance between the two mounting holes. If your drawer is not currently drilled for pulls this measurement is still important to pay attention to for future reference. Most standard drawer pulls come in a three inch center to center spacing - larger sizes may be available for some styles however.

The greatest part of redesigning the home is the ability to be creative - don't feel like a home must look a particular way. The smaller details are what matter in any design and breaking away from traditional designs is a great way to make your design truly your own. Pewter knobs are available in a wide range of finishes ranging from silver tones (pewter) to copper, verdigris or even antique white. These options allow the homeowner to coordinate new hardware with existing fixtures that will not be replaced.

Searching for easy ways to redecorate without spending a fortune does not have to be complicated - merely creative. Remember to think outside the box this year and bring the beauty of Spring into your kitchen. Tie the look together further by painting cabinets in soft pastel tones or adding other floral design elements such as floral curtain tie backs, coat/utility hooks or even a few flower pots around the room.

Balance the Omega 6 Fatty Acids and the Omega 3 Oils in Your Diet

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Medical discoveries of the past decade have shown that that most major illnesses have one common factor -chronic inflammation in the body. This datum can have a hugely positive impact on your health and your ability to prevent debilitating conditions to develop in your body.

The killer illnesses in modern industrialized societies that affect about 70% of the populations - are cancer, heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, and stroke. All these diseases are related to chronic sub-clinical (not easily noticed) inflammation.

Inflammation is supposed to occur to promote healing from injury, and as part of our immune response in fighting invaders. These situations are acute and temporary. We get over it.

Omega 3 has proven to support anti-inflammatory pathways in the body, and omega 6 has been shown to support pro-inflammatory pathways. Omega 6 is more prevalent in our diet, but it is not essentially "bad".

If our body is full of particles that are not supposed to be there - partially digested food in the blood, metals from breathing smog irritating our lungs, and fats in the blood that our liver isn't processing because it is inflamed, then we are in a state of chronic inflammation. It never goes away.

Add in the presence of omega 6 fats that don't have the necessary amount of omega 3 fats to balance them, and inflammation is being promoted, not kept in check. Inflammation is silent turmoil, biochemically. In our tissues, in our blood, in our brain.

There is a marker in the blood called C-Reactive Protein that reflects the level of inflammation in the body. This marker, CRP is easily measured by a simple, inexpensive blood test.

As you increase your intake of Omega-3 fatty acids, it is necessary to cut back significantly on ingesting Omega-6 fatty acids that come from ;

*any bottled oil that you buy in the supermarket other than olive oil

*every bottled salad dressing that you buy

* all the processed foods that you buy

* all fried food that you eat (unless it's cooked in lard or hydrogenated oil)

* all of the grain fed beef and poultry that you buy. The animals pick up the Omega-6's from the grains they eat and store it in their flesh. Grass fed beef, however, is low in Omega 6 fatty acids.

A healthy old age with full muscle and brain power is so worth a lifestyle change. Preparing your own salad dressings from olive oil, flaxseed oil and lemon or vinegar isn't so hard. You make a big bottle for the week. It is so easy now to buy trimmed and cut vegetables and salads, to cut down on preparation time, and eat lots of them raw. Grass fed beef and free-range chicken is easier to find in the food stores than it was a decade ago.

Eating cold water wild caught fish like salmon, mackerel, tuna and others is easy - and yet they are polluted, so consumption must be limited.

Fortunately we can get ultra purified, or pharmaceutical grade fish oil to give us the nutrients we need to avoid a chronically inflamed system.

Wouldn't you do just about anything to avoid cancer, arthritis, diabetes, lung disease and heart disease? Depression and stroke? Everything we need in the way of good food, anti-inflammatory education, and fine supplements, we have. How good is that!

Swine Flu H1N1 Down Under - We'll Put Another Rib on the Barbie For Ya!

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Australia now employs much stricter measures on all aircraft arriving from the Americas in order to stem the tide H1N1 virus infection in the new war on Swine Flu. The Australian Department of Health and Ageing states "before all planes are permitted to land in Australia from the Americas the captain will be required" to brief the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS) on the health status of the passengers on the plane. Any passengers having Flu like symptoms will be examined by AQIS officers who will decide if mandatory medical measures are required. Announcements are made over the planes' PA system asking passengers to report if they are feeling unwell so they can ask for medical attention. These new more comprehensive border surveillance measures are constructed to make sure anyone arriving with obvious Swine Flu symptoms or may later develop these symptoms is screened out and detained. The Australian Government is overseeing H1N1 Swine Flu developments overseas and is prepared to escalate the response levels as required. Australia is monitoring the situation because it needs to protect the country's pork industry, a major export to Asia. China and Russia have already banned the import of pork products from Mexico and parts of the USA.

Most pig farming in Australia today is an intensive factory-style process designed for maximum cost efficiency and run by fewer and larger corporations. In fact, since the early 1970s, the number of Australian pig farms is only 10% of what they were, however production volume has increased by more than 120 per cent. Piggeries evolved into the highly efficient intensive operations over a period of 10 years. Australia's hog meat industry is a .5 billion a year operation and employs more than 33,000 people. This has all become possible because the solution for quick and explosive growth has been to jam as many pigs, hogs, swine as into as small a space as possible feed them and give them growth enhancing agents. The point is to deliver the maximum weight of pork meat and products to the market place for consumption in Asia and Australia. Money is the important thing here not the pigs no the Australia people absolutely nothing else, the ends justify the means. H1N1 virus and its cousins fit very nicely into a situation like this and the Australian government like so many others has given the corporations "carte blanc" because money is involved.

Australia's government sadly is proactively involved in this almost global cover up of actual interdiction practices and policies concerning the H1N1 Swine Flu virus. The plan always seems to go like this 1. The government evaluates the treat based on the threat it poses to its own financial interests not the health or mortality concerns of the populace 2. Be sure the "lip service" offered is adequate to give the appearance of strong assertive action to contain the threat because appearances are everything 3. Hide the facts and knowledge of the virus' prior residence in domestic pig herds 4. Use the public fear to incite anti immigration and anti importation extremists who in turn will stir up enough controversy to deflect attention from the main issue, H1N1 virus and the indigenous hog farms it inhabits.

Australia's pork industry is facing new threats from Europe, concerning about animal welfare. Many Australian pork producers are being forced to change their animal husbandry practices to comply with proposed new welfare codes for pigs. The sow stalls used for confinement were considered a form of cruelty. In Australia, the industry is limiting use of stalls sow during early pregnancies, to satisfy animal welfare groups. Never the less the most important facts as usual are purposely or unwittingly being missed or glossed over. While the Australian government uses the smoke and mirrors of concentrating on passengers flying into Australia showing possible signs of Swine Flu, and the animal rights groups are concentrating on the inhumane treatment of Australian factory pig farms, neither is asking any questions about obvious truths.

The situation with H1N1 Swine Flu did not start in March in La Gloria Mexico, March was the point at which the existence of the virus became so poignant, because residents of La Gloria screamed so loud about the deaths and sickness from the H1N1 virus that someone finally heard them and the alarm was sounded worldwide. Animal rights groups, be on notice human health rights trump your position. The real questions are what happened to the hogs and pork products shipped to Australia previously where are they and what happened to them? Where live swine or pork products imported from Mexico or the USA specifically? Are the indigenous live swine of the country already infected? Do the freezers and store houses contain H1N1 infected swine carcasses? Are people that already carrying the antibodies in there blood due to previous exposure to H1N1 virus before any alarm was sounded? Have previous human and swine death records involving respiratory failure been examined, and autopsy samples tested for the H1N1virus? Have wild boars, free ranging pigs, and hand raised backyard pigs been tested? I am reasonably sure the answer to all these questions is "no" as well as the questions I left out! Then of course Australia is struggling with one of the same demons Mexico is, tourism. The less negative publicity the better it is for the multi-billion dollar tourist industry, it is in the national interest to keep tourist coming. This need is in direct opposition to public health issues because again money is involved and those tourists are expected to purchase and consume a lot of home grown pig meat.

A 26-year-old Aboriginal man from the remote Aboriginal community of Kiwirrkurra died in the Royal Adelaide Hospital recently. The day before he died he was diagnosed with the Swine Flu A (H1N1) virus. How could the virus have possibly traveled that far in such a short period of time? The answer is it could not, apparently it followed its usual MO (method of operation), because as usual the government was asleep at the wheel. The Swine Flu H1N1virus was already in Australia doing what it does best, infect sicken and kill. Dear reader the next time you are told down under and they offer to put another rib on the Barbie for ya! Tell them to put another shrimp on the Barbie for ya, instead!

Create a Virtual 3D World on Your Website

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

VRML, which stands for virtual reality markup language, is a technology for animation and 3D modeling that lets you create 3D scenes for websites. A special VRML browser plug in lets you control the viewing of VRML components on web sites. Panoramas are another type of virtual reality component, similar in some ways to VRML in that the user needs a special plug in to view and control the viewing of the panoramic virtual reality component. However, unlike VRML panoramas are made up of a series of photographs stitched together to create one image that you can view entirely as you move your cursor across the image.

Web designers add virtual reality (VR) components to web pages for several reasons, including to make web pages more interesting and interactive, and to display an item in a 3D view.

Some common formats for panoramas include Quick Time VR, VRML2, Black Diamond's Surround Video, and Infinite Pictures SmoothMove.

VRML offers uses for many types of websites, including entertainment, education, computer aided design, product marketing, virtual malls, and much more. Panoramas are useful for these same types of websites, as well as real estate and travel.

VR components offer many advantages to web site designers. They make web sites more interesting and interactive, provide more detail for objects or places than regular flat photos, there is no need for complex programming to add a VR component to your web site , and they generally have cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility. Some disadvantages include requirement of a plug in for viewing, (in many cases), long download time for some web VR components, depending on the file size and type, and the needed skills and creativity for quality output.

Many software programs, such as Caligari's TrueSpace, Micrografx Simply 3D, Silicon Graphics Internet 3D Space Builder, and Platinum Technology's VRCreator learning edition, automatically creat VRML files for you.

Some software options for panorama creation include Apple's Quick Time VR Authoring Studio, Enroute Imaging's QuickStitch 360, Video Brush Corporation's VideoBrush Panorama, Live Picture's Photo Vista, Infinite Picture's Smooth Move, Ulead's Cool 360, and Black Diamond's Surround Video.

Do You Need a 3D DVD Player to Enjoy the Full Cinematic Effects of a 3D Movie?

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

If you are into cinematic-enhanced movies, you might be wondering if you will need a 3D DVD player to enjoy a 3D movie. Since most of the movies now are turning 3D, movie-goers are encouraged to watch them in the theaters! But, you might not need a DVD player just to watch 3D movies. How is this possible? You just needed the right gadgets to help you enjoy the movie at home.

How does 3D work?

Traditionally it works by emitting light from the screen. This is best appreciated using red and blue glasses to maximize the effects. Conventional 3D movies work by using SD or Standard Definition methods.

Fast forward to the present, 3D movies now uses stereoscopic filming. Movies like Avatar and My Bloody Valentine use Digital 3D that is more detailed than conventional three dimensional movies.

You will appreciate a Digital 3D movie through High Definition TV due to its clarity.

Is it required to watch 3D movies using a 3D DVD player?

The answer is no. You can still watch 3D movies using your standard TV at home. Just get a pair of red and blue glasses and you are all set!

If you own a HDTV or a 3D DVD player, you get to enjoy a movie in 3D better. Instead of wearing colored glasses, 3D movies in HDTV is best watched using clear glasses to make the scenes 'pop-out'. It gives better results and the satisfaction might be closer to that in a cinema!

Here are some tricks to maximize your viewing pleasure:

* Heighten the brightness in your TV. If you are using standard television to watch a 3D animation, wearing those colored glasses might make the images dim. To avoid this, increase the brightness to compensate the dark shades from your glasses. This might improve the quality a bit.

* Switch off the lights: You get to experience the full cinematic effects by dimming the room. This enhances the images and projects other bright-colored scenery from the screen. It also lessens the double-vision, halo effects and improves the brightness of the effects.

* Sit closer to the television: You will get a better view and focus if you sit in front -- not on the sides. If you must, you can sit a little closer to appreciate the visuals.

So grab a good pair of red and blue glasses, pop-corn, some soda and company and enjoy a three dimensional movie today!

How Are Video Games Made - The Process From Start to Finish

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

It's time to answer that oh-so important question that's been burning in the back of your mind: "how are video games made?" Here is a very basic run down of how video games are made.

1. Core Team

A group of people whom come up with the general concept of the game. Numerous meetings will occur in which the group brainstorms about the game; figuring out not only how it will look, but also how it will work. The core team is in charge of the production schedule as well, which describes the tasks each person is assigned and when they most do them.

2. Game Breakdown

Every detail, task, job, and deadline about the video game is broken down into components and then added to a bulletin board. This board acts as the nerve center throughout the games production.

3. Artistic Concept

Artists sketch out the games characters & backgrounds with a very basic level of detail. These sketches are what the graphics artists use to create the characters and backgrounds in 3D on the computer.

4. Development Team

This team uses the latest in computer animation technology to bring life to all of the game's elements; adding colors, textures, shading, and even movement. This team uses the 3d characters and backgrounds created by the graphics team.

5. Programming & Engineering

This is the bread & butter of the game development stage; because without this part, there would be no game. Suffice it to say, the programmers & engineers make the game work. Their coding is what holds the game together and allows the player to actually play the game.

6. Testing

This is the final and most crucial part of the development process. This phase is to see if everything is working properly and as it should be. Testers will check for bugs and glitches and try to find potential problems.

The game testers won't merely be playing the game and seeing if problems will find them -- it's the other way around, as THEY will be the ones searching for the problems. The testers will do everything and anything possible in the game to ensure there is no abnormal situations or circumstances; walking through walls, disappearing, enemy AI problems, cinematic errors, you name it. If the testers miss ANYTHING, it could mean disastrous consequences -- in the form of profit loss -- for the company releasing the game.

Free Movie Tickets

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Free movie tickets are among the most popular freebies on the market. Studios and advertisement agencies free movie tickets as enticements for increasing sales and profits.

Movie Studios often offer free movie tickets or a free screening of their new movies. The premise is that it will build up word of mouth hype around the movie and attract droves of more theatergoers to watch the movie. For example, when the movie Erin Brockovich was to be released in Bangalore, India, free tickets were distributed to women on a first come- first serve basis to organize an all woman screening on the first day.

Sometimes studios or theatres make arrangements with companies, offices, or educational institutions to distribute free tickets to their members. Children in particular are treated to free movie screenings. Some companies offer free movie tickets as incentives added to their compensation.

Very often, free movie tickets are offered as freebies when using the services or products of certain companies. The Internet is swarming with advertisements for free movie tickets that are given out to surfers who play particular games, order goods, buying products, or opt for free trials. For example, the famous chocolate maker Hershey's advertises an offer in which one must collect 16 points from specially marked packages of Milk Duds Candy, Whoppers Malted Milk Balls, or Hershey's Bites Candies to exchange for one free movie ticket.

There' s also a site called FreeMoviePremiereTickets.com. One can get a pack of 2 movie premier tickets after completing one free offer by the company. The tickets are paid for by the sponsors of the site who benefit by the increase in traffic you generate for them. The tickets are usually shipped in less than three days.

Many offers for free movie tickets end up being scams, but they are often genuine. Consumers usually have nothing to lose but time by looking into these offers.

The Importance of a Dog House

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Having a pet at home has over the years has become a tradition. People enjoy having pets and most people keep their pets within the home environment. There have been several different surveys and pieces of research that have shown that the most common pet is a dog. . If you are going to have a pet dog it is very important that he has a dog house and this is part of the basic care of a pet dog.

Every animal has basic needs and one of these basics is a house. People like to keep their dogs within their own apartment but it is important to remember that dogs have feeling to therefore it is very important that the dog has its own house either in the garden or within the owners home. Animals like to have a place where they can get away from everything, sleep and eat and this is one reason why a dog house is very important.

It's a very good idea to give your dog a house that is the correct size and the size will vary depending on the size of the individual dog. It is very important to make sure you get a house that is suitable for your own specific dog as all dogs are individual just like humans.

Prior to either making or purchasing a dog house it is very important to measure your dog to find out what size he is. It is very important to measure both the height and the length of the dog. It is very important to ensure that the house that you build for your dog has the proper level of ventilation and that the ventilation is at floor level. It is also important that the house is designed so that it is able to keep the dog warm during the winter months.

Claymation in the Digital Era

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Stop-motion animation has been around for decades. The arduous process of creating these productions took extremely long and required great patience. If you ever watched one of the familiar staples - holiday claymation specials, you can still see these "blasts from the past" every year, even today. Then along came computer animation software which took the experience to a whole new level from the normal Saturday morning cartoons and Disney movies from not that long ago. But, I would argue there is still a lingering nostalgia for this art form of the past. In fact, companies have proven this correct by creating stop-motion animation editing tools for the digital age with a focus on the next generation - kids.

Creating videos, for kids, these days seems second nature due to the technology advancements of the last several years. Children learn to visually portray their imaginations from a digital perspective, moreso than with pen and paper, early on. By using animation software, you give children an outlet to show off their artistics talents while learning valuable skills they will might use as they grow up. After all, who didn't like playing with clay when they were young? I know I loved it, and I wasn't even any good at creating anything all that amazing. That's what makes products, like claymation software so engaging for kids. They learn something new and have fun doing it in the process, which many will tell you is the way to reach any young child.

For parents, using these types of animation software tools with their children lets them share the experience as well. And, you can fuel your child's creative juices in a way that's also productive from an educational standpoint. For their next school project, for example, they might create a short video using stop-motion video editing software. You can also show off your budding filmmakers projects for to your family and friends using the sharing components provided with these types of software. Upload it online, email it to a relative or save it to your hard drive for future viewing.

The increasing digital world we live will only become more intertwined with our lives. Using animation software for kids, which is less complicated then other advanced editing software, may end up being an investment in your childs future in the digital arena. I still find it ironic that a film technique from the past could pave the way for your child's future in the arts! Or, if not, they'll just have fun visually expressing their ideas, the way we did with clay back when we were their age.

Four Secrets About Elephants You Probably Did Not Know About

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

What does it mean to have elephant artistry in your home? Few people know or understand the important symbolism the elephant projects onto the human subconscious. Being the largest land animal on the planet, the elephant represents four very important traits.

Strength and Power: Okay. This one is pretty straight forward. Elephants are enormous, extremely strong, and their skin is extremely tough. Before the pickup truck, there was the elephant.

Perseverance: Many great leaders feel that perseverance is the most important element to any type of success. The elephant is known as the most persistent animal on the planet. They migrate hundreds of miles each year, in blistering temperatures, without water, in order to reach water-filled rivers. Elephants never give up, no matter what the odds.

Patience / Wisdom: Elephants are highly intelligent animals, considered to be in the same intelligence category as dolphins. They are highly evolved in relation to family, community, and higher consciousness. In addition, they live to be about 60 years old making them wise beyond their years.

Dignity: Being so large, the elephant does not hide very well. It was made by God to be large, and "out there" for the world to behold and enjoy. There is no shyness nor shame in the elephant. For this reason, the elephant is held by many as being very dignified and proud.

Throughout history, and in many different cultures, the elephant has consistently represented strength, perseverance, wisdom, and dignity. Few, if any, animals combine these four virtues as evenly and completely as does the elephant. I wonder how you can utilize the elephant in your home or workplace to experience these same benefits right now.

Anatomy and Physiology Study Guides - Easy Way to Memorize Anatomy Terms

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Studying anatomy and physiology can be very frustrating. Have you ever searched for a simpler way to study anatomy? I went thorough the pain of memorizing mountains of medical terms. I must tell you it's not a simple task to remember them even English not to mention the Latin terms. If you truly want to make your study easier then pay close attention to this article and it will make you one step close to your goal.

o First of all memorizing the term and its meaning is very similar to learning a foreign language. That's why I have borrowed a tip to remember the words. Take a bunch of index cards and write down a term on one side of the card and its meaning on other side of it. Do it with all the terms you need to memorize. Now going through the cards one by one flipping them makes it much easier to memorize the terms. Alternate back and forth until you can give the meaning or the term and then look at the definition first and name the term.

o Second tip that was extremely helpful for me is to have some visualization of the human anatomy. You know that people receive the large portion of information from environment through eyes. Pictures and diagrams are good help. But I found even better solution. There are some pieces of software that show the three dimensional human skeletal and muscular structure. Never underestimate the power of animation. You will be surprised how easier it makes memorizing the bones and muscles of human body.

A Better Look At Some Of The Most Famous And Popular Cuts of Diamonds

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Everyone has heard the various phases about diamonds. One is, "diamonds are forever" and another "is diamonds are a girl's best friend". Movie stars and entertainers have them adorning their necks and hanging from their ears. You can always tell a newly engaged woman, because she can't take her eyes off the diamond ring on her finger. Tennis bracelets are on many Christmas lists and little girls impatiently wait for their first pair of diamond stud earrings.

Our fascination with the gorgeous gems have spanned centuries. They symbolize both prosperity and love and come in different shapes and sizes. They are worn in clusters or as a solitaire, with equal pride and are coveted around the world. The most popular cuts used to be the emerald and the round cut. Now, designers are creating their own patented cuts that present a whole new generation of styles. Some of these cost in the hundreds and thousands of dollars and are coveted by everyone who has a love of these gems.

Even with all the new designs being offered, the round cut diamond remains the favorite. The diamond cut originated in Venice, during the 17th century. Since raw diamonds come in varying shapes, the shape may determine the final cut of the diamond. Round diamonds are cut from octahedron crystal formations. During the cutting process, often more than 50 percent of the formation is cut away. Still many will produce at least two fabulous diamonds. Fancier cuts such as the pear or marquise come from formations that have a more unusual shape. There is also the triple cut brilliant diamond that has 33 facets. The original brilliant cuts had only 17 facets.

The original gem cutting tools were simple were of a simple design. This changed during the 19th century when better tools were developed. This also allowed the gem cutters to create more styles of diamonds and gems. Marcel Tolkowsky published a book called Diamond Design in 1919. The book detailed his innovative technique that combined light and refraction with that of cutting the diamonds. His book led to more advanced cutting techniques, some of which allowed the full brilliance of diamond to come through in a dazzling, fiery display.

Today, it is not uncommon to see diamonds cut in the shapes of stars, animals and even insects. Other cuts such as the heart shaped cut, ovals, trillions and pear shaped diamonds can be seen in many jewelry store cases, their brilliance luring all who enter. Tiffany offers a diamond with their patented Lucida cut. Another patented diamond cut is at least 3 carats and is oblong with rounded ends. It is named the Ashoka diamond and costs a fortune to own. No matter what the shape or size of the diamond, receiving one makes a person feel special and loved.

Cowgirl Crib Bedding

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Are you searching for Western themed nursery ideas? The first place you may want to start with is cowgirl crib bedding.

It is always a good idea when starting to plan the theme for a nursery to go crib bedding shopping first. You can then decorate the rest of the room from the colors that are present in the bedding set.

In the past, Western themed nursery bedding may have been better suited for a boy's room, but today it can make for a wonderful girl's room also. Cowgirl crib bedding will most likely contain bright pinks and light brown colors - although this is not the only colors you can find, it is just the most popular. Horses and horseshoe prints will also likely be found on the bedding.

After the cowgirl crib bedding is chosen, you can start to think about other decorations for the room. Cowgirl curtains can be used for window treatments. Horse shoe chairs can be used for seating. For the wall color, choose a color from the bedding that will not overwhelm the room.

For wall hangings, consider pictures of horses and other farm animals. Animal figurines can also be placed on bureaus and tables. Consider pink hangers for the baby's clothing.

While a cowgirl nursery theme may not be as popular as a princess theme, do not be scared to choose what you like for the baby's room. This may be the only time in your child's life that you will have any say in what type of decorations are used in the their room. So, have a good time decorating and do not be scared of choosing a not-so-common nursery theme.

FAB Fabrics - A Look at Eco-Friendly Fabrics and Their Properties

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

There are so many fabrics out there that the fashion world has started to recognise as being both great to design with and good for the planet. Looking at Eco-fabrics is not as simple as man-made or natural, organic or not. It is about everything from how they are grown, where, how, by whom, what methods are used, how much is paid and how does this affect the planet?

It is also important to see using eco-fibres as something that will ensure the long term health of our planet and not just people jumping on the trendy green band wagon. There are many misconceptions about natural fabric production and many facts that are not known.

An eco-fabric will be something that it is good to grow that fits in with the local wildlife and plantation and will not harm the land or the workers involved when it is harvested. The dyes used, have to be chemical free and natural and would be produced locally to where it is grown rather than flown miles away. An eco-fabric is durable and requires only low temperatures to wash and air dries quickly, and will decompose naturally when disposed of.

There are many types of eco fabrics available including wool from different animals and fabrics produced from various plants, and even some materials made from recycled plastics.

From Animals: Alpaca's have thick coats and make incredibly warm clothing, the fibre is stronger, lighter and more resilient than tradition sheep wool, it is finer than cashmere and equally as warm as Gortex. Sheep's Wool is also taken ethically without using a technique called "mulesing" which takes a layer of skin off their backsides to stop flies. Wool from all animals traditionally used (sheep, llama, goats and camels) has antibacterial properties and built in U.V. ray protection. It's soft but strong, lasts well, and is wrinkle dirt and fire resisitent.

From Plants: Bamboo grows at an amazing rate and is one of the planets most sustainable resources and it's 100% biodegradable. As a fabric it is super soft, stretchy, breathable, absorbent, hypoallergenic and anti bacterial and can be burnt and made into a fabric for extra deodorising properties, ideal for socks.

Hemp is also a great fabric to make clothing from, although it is not soft to touch, it is very durable, water resistant and washes easily, which makes it ideal for outdoor wear. Ingeo is made from corn and is like a natural but man-made version of polyester which is a synthetic. It is great, used in pillows, duvets, clothing and even carpeting. It is the first commercially viable natural but man-made fabric.

Organic Cotton is organic in the methods it is grown in and harvested and doesn't harm the environment by using nasty chemicals and pesticides, which inevitably effect our water supply.

Organic Silk is also available without the cost to the environment; the properties of silk are well known.

From Other Sources: Tencel is a natural man-made fibre developed from the pulp of trees grown on land unsuitable for crops or grazing. Soya is made from a tofu manufacturing waste product where the soy protein is liquefied and makes a soft material. Somalor is also extracted from corn but can be dyed to make really vibrant, exciting colours. Sashwashi is made from Japanese paper and the kumazasa herb and is similar to linen.

There are many eco friendly fabrics available to make any designers fashions fashionable with the green crowd too. Saving the planet is just a little bit trendy at the moment but hopefully these eco-friendly fabrics will become more of a main stream manufacturing habit the whole world can wear!

Easy Recipes For Kids to Follow

,
MAKE A 3D ANIMATION :

Irrespective of their age or gender, kids love experimenting at the kitchen and easy recipes for kids to follow are therefore given so that your kid can spend time fruitfully. When you teach your kid these recipes you would observe that their basic skills in math, communication, reading and comprehension are also getting developed. Your kid would also learn to carefully follow the instructions provided which is really the preliminary lesson taught in primary schools. In addition to knowing the easy recipes for kids to follow you also need to get certain kitchen items handy for your kids like plastic/metal mixing bowls, wooden spoons, hot pads, cups, and apron.

The 2 easy recipes for kids to follow which would be discussed over here are "Krazy Kake", and "Mouse Cupcakes".

For preparing the dish of "Krazy Kake", you would require 2 teaspoonfuls of baking soda, 1 teaspoonful of common salt, 2 teaspoonfuls of vinegar, and 1 teaspoonful of vanilla. You would also require 2 cups of sugar, 3 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of cocoa, 3/4 cup of oil and 2 cups of water. Before putting anything, preheat the oven to a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix all the dry ingredients in a baking pan. Make the ingredients smooth. With the aid of a spoon, you need to make 3 big holes in a dry mixture. Pour vanilla in one of the holes, in another one pour vinegar, and then oil in the 3rd hole. Pour water over the total mixture and stir with the help of a fork until the mixture becomes uniform. Bake this at the same pre-set temperature for approximately 40 minutes. Then take out the cake and allow it to cool. You can use powdered sugar as a topping for this cake. Ensure that your kid has understood the quantities of ingredients required and the process of preparation, which is quite simple.

The second preparation that is going to be discussed in easy recipes for kids to follow is "Mouse Cupcakes". The ingredients required would be 1 chocolate-cake mix, 8 scoops of vanilla ice-cream, small candies, skittles and licorice. The quantity of ingredients taken would be sufficient for preparation of 8 cupcakes.

First make the mixture for the cake preparation. Keep the muffin cups two-thirds full. Then make the preparation and allow it to cool after baking has been completed. When the cakes become cool, put ice-cream as a topping on them, and decorate them in a manner which gives a mouse's appearance. You can use 2 mint-cookies to make the ears of the mouse and candies to resemble the eyes and the nose. Cut the licorice and insert it appropriately for the whiskers of the mouse. If the cake has started to melt in between all this, place the cupcakes in the freezer for half an hour. This recipe is extremely easy to prepare and your kid would also use his creativity in giving the appearance of the mouse to the cake.

These easy recipes for kids to follow would help your kid to learn a lot about the cooking nuances and also improve his observation and improvisation skills.
